After watching the film Food, Inc. I learned a lot of things
that I did not know before. First of all I used to think about whom is
preparing my food more than where it comes from.
I would mostly think about who
would be preparing it because I have worked in the fast food business, and I have
heard plenty of horror stories about fast food and the common ‘spitting on
people’s food’ and ‘dropping food and still using it.’ I think it is wrong that
we as Americans care more about money then the health and safety of other Americans.
I think that if everyone cared more about their food and where it comes from
that the world as we know it would be extremely different and a better place.
There
would be a whole new complete set of regulations on how food is processed and prepared
because if it was how it is today, no one would eat it; plus there would be
plenty of lawsuits to go around. As for now I think that it is better that we
do not know a lot about our food and the process it goes through before it gets
onto our plate.
